Many found solace in different things during the pandemic: baking bread, nurturing plants or merely hoping for a return to normalcy.

Alexandra? She found freedom in her paintbrush by doodling and painting on clothing. It was here, in this unique cocoon of creativity, that she started her wearable art studio. Then, the often bewildering world of NFTs beckoned. And like the true adventurer she is, Alexandra didn’t shy away. She co-founded “Supernaturals,” not just as a digital project but as an exploration of personal growth and self-discovery. Crafting an entire NFT collection from scratch, she wove stories from the fragments of her imagination.

However, the real adventure in Alexandra’s narrative came with her encounter with Midjourney, which was still in its infancy. A third-place victory in Open Fashion’s competition in Japan and features in revered digital magazines further crystallized her stance. And yet, for someone who’s achieved so much, Alexandra’s thirst remains unquenched. Every fashion designer she admires, the beauty of nature, and every uncharted territory sparks a new idea. She firmly believes AI has the potential to revolutionize creativity. In her words, it’s about the “right tools, a sprinkle of imagination, and a sprinkle of research.” With the expanse of the universe as her playground, Alexandra Serban is on a wild, exhilarating ride—one we’d all do well to watch closely.
