Milan Fashion Week is poised for a technological renaissance as the Digital Couture Summit returns for its SS’25 edition on September 19th. Following its massive success in February’s fashion week, which captivated over 300 exclusive guests, the summit is set to glamour high fashion and cutting-edge technology once again.

A Confluence of Fashion and Tech Giants

Hosted at the chic Lynk&Co venue—strategically nestled opposite the iconic D&G Martini Club—the event promises an evening of remarkable fusion of glamour and innovation. The summit is an invite-only affair, meticulously curated by fashion advisor Nikki Cikaluk and Olska Green, a fashion AI educator and founder of the sustainable phygital brand Ecoolska.
This year’s lineup brings some of the most prominent fashion houses and big tech. Industry heavyweights such as Lacoste, Lanvin Group, Condé Nast Italia, Vogue Business, Google, and Polygon will converge to explore immersive experiences, digital identity and consumer behaviour in the luxury space. The summit aims to foster an environment that inspires innovation and propels the fashion industry into the digital age.

Insightful Dialogues and Future Trends

The evening will commence with a compelling fireside chat between Marta Pettenuzzo, Head of Creative Strategy at Condé Nast Italia, and Nikki Cikaluk. They will discuss how luxury houses are implementing innovation in 2024 and offer personal predictions on emerging trends in digital fashion.
As the night unfolds, thought leaders will share insights on how digitalization is transforming the luxury industry by sharing their personal experiences and the latest implementations by brands. Giving insights on topics ranging from evolving consumer behaviours in the luxury market to the limitless potential of AI in creative processes, the conversation promises a wealth of knowledge sharing. Noor Amaryllis from Google and Kirsty McGregor, Senior European Editor at Vogue Business, will provide their perspectives on how technology influences consumer preferences.
In an energetic discussion on the boundaries of AI technology, the Director of Digital Transformation and Innovation at Lanvin Group will join Keiron Birch, former Creative Director at Calvin Klein and current Creative Director at Genera, alongside Garry Krugljakow, RED-EYE Editor and Co-Founder of Kavana Lab. Their conversation will focus on AI-driven try-ons and content creation, examining how artificial intelligence is reshaping the fashion landscape.

Digital Product Passports: The Next Frontier
One of the summit’s pivotal topics will be the implementation of Digital Product Passports (DPPs) for enhanced transparency and sustainability. In anticipation of upcoming EU regulations set to take effect in 2026, Erin Surprenant of Lacoste, Felipe Fiallo of Fiallo, Alexandra Maslova of SEAMM, and Mihailo Bjelic, Co-Founder of Polygon, will discuss real-world applications of DPPs. They will highlight the significance of on-chain digital identities and how they can revolutionize the fashion industry’s approach to authenticity and sustainability. Alexandra Maslova of SEAMM, an innovative leader in the phygital fashion space, is set to make a significant announcement: the launch of SMART DPP, a multi-chain digital product passport SaaS integrated with the Polygon blockchain, developed in collaboration with Kavana Lab. Additionally, SMART DPP will unveil new partnerships with Fiallo and PDHS, marking a significant step forward in the adoption of blockchain technology in fashion.
Unveiling Collections and Technological Marvels
Attendees will be treated to the SS’25 Collection Showcase by Fiallo, fresh off their official Milan Fashion Week show at the historic Palazzo Giureconsulti. The revolutionary collection features three sneaker designs with proprietary 3D-printed outsoles, merging sustainability with avant-garde aesthetics and reducing material waste while elevating comfort to an art form. Genera will introduce guests to a full-size AI Mirror experience, offering a glimpse into the future of virtual try-ons. Kavana Lab’s fashion and music team will be on hand to explore crypto-based products on the Polygon Network, while Italian mixed reality company, Metagate presents Ecoolska’s FW’24-25 Collection through an immersive Meta Quest 3 experience. Adding to the evening’s allure, Hermetik will present its limited-edition collection. Known for blending prêt-à-porter with advanced Web3 technologies, Hermetik stands for “slow disruptive fashion,” offering digitally authenticated pieces that are physically and virtually exclusive.
Culinary Delights and Celebrations

An exclusive aperitivo presented by VETZ and Kinley will elevate the summit’s ambiance. VETZ reimagines the modern aperitif with its natural Italian bitter crafted from select botanicals, while Kinley’s range of mixers will complement the offerings, enhancing the convivial atmosphere.
As the evening transitions into the night, a live DJ performance will set the tone for an exclusive gala hosted by SEAMM. This celebration marks the official launch of SMART DPP at Milan Fashion Week, capping off an evening that promises to be as informative as it is engaging.
